Khoirudin stated that Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to support for government services in assisting the residents.

"We always give our support for government's good programs," he said, Tuesday (10/29).

He left it to the Executive regarding the technical discussion of the policy of free rental fees at the Pasar Rumput Flat.

"We always support social programs as well as free policy for residents," he added.

As reported earlier, Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi said Jakarta Provincial Government is fully supporting the Central Government's policy through the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to give free rent at Pasar Rumput Flat for residents impacted by the fire in Manggarai, South Jakarta.

The Indonesian Minister of PKP, Maruarar Sirait, emphasized his request for Perumda Pasar Jaya to provide free Pasar Rumput Flats for a year for victims of the Manggarai fire. This is to meet the needs of residents' housing.

The policy of one year free rent is started Sunday (10/27).

As for information, the fire burned 21 RTs of 3 RWs, Manggarai Urban Village, on August 13 ago and impacted 1,172 families. Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government gave three-month free rent at Pasar Rumput Flat.
